Based in Dalian, China, ZhangZe made a name for himself as a leading beatboxer since 2010 with millions of followers and support from Roland and Swissbeatbox.

In 2018 ZhangZe stepped into the production world with a focus in bass music. His debut EP ‘Under the Hei Mountain’ displays his solid understanding of rhythm cultivated through his beatboxing career. The EP contains tracks that touch on various sounds of Drum and Bass. ‘G Fish Tofu’ is a heavy breakbeat stomper with techy bass switches. The title track ‘Dahei Mountain’ is a smooth deep liquid roller featuring ZhangZe’s vocals. The EP finishes it off with ‘Please’ which is a homage to the deep rolling sounds of the early 2000’s. ZhangZe makes a strong entry into the DnB world, and we are very excited for his future.
